Farmer's Market

The Metamora Farmers Market NFP (Not for Profit) is a local market that operates for growers/producers of agricultural related products and local artisans. The market is open seasonally on Saturday Mornings on the Square in Metamora, (8AM-12PM) June through September.

Join us for free concerts on Friday Evenings from 7:30-9:30 PM at the bandstand in the Metamora Square. All are welcome to attend and bring their own lawn chairs. Bleacher seating is available.

This summer festival has been held in Metamora since 1901 - that's over a hundred years of partying! Originally a one-day picnic, Old Settler's Days has evolved into a multi-day festival with live music, sizzling food, and carnival rides and games.

Wednesday, June 23

Friday, June 25

Carnival Rides - Noon to 10 (Rides will by shut down from 5:00 to 6:00)

All you can ride wristbands from Noon to 5 for $20

Artsy Snartsy Face Painting - 1:00 to 4:00 (no cost)

Balloons by the Unique Twist & Twisting Crew - 1:00 to 4:00 (no cost)

Barnyard Discoveries - 2:00 to 4:00 (free admission)

Entertainment - "West MacQueen Street Band" - 6:00 to 9:30 (sponsored by Commerce Bank)

Saturday, June 26

48th Lincoln Douglas Run

7:30 AM - 8 mile and 3 mile run (walkers welcome in 3 mile run)

8:00 AM - 1/2 mile kids fun run (12 and under) (organized by Metamora Township High School)

Old Settler's Parade - 10:00

Carnival Rides - Noon to 10 (rides will shut down from 5 to 6)

All you can ride wristbands from Noon to 5 for $20

Merilee Studios Performance - 12:00 to 1:00

All Nights

Multiple drawings will be held each night for gift certificates to local businesses after the entertainment. Enter at the table at the gazebo. No cost to enter, but you must be over 16 to enter and be present to win.

Advance ride tickets (5 for $10.00; regular $3.00 per ticket) will be available starting on June 16th at MTCO (Metamora) and Heartland Bank (Metamora) during regular business hours. Quantities are limited. Sales will end at 2:00 pm on June 23rd or when sold out.

Strip of 10 tickets for $25.00 will be available at the ticket booth only during Old Settler's Days

No pets or bikes allowed (except for service animals) in Square during Old Settler's Days

All entertainment and activities without a sponsor listed are paid for by the Old Settler's Commitee
